If changes you make on one device are not appearing on another, the issue is usually with browser caching, session state, or network connectivity.
Common Causes
- Stale browser cache -- Your other device is showing a cached version of the page.
- Session not refreshed -- The page has not fetched the latest data from the server.
- Network connectivity issues -- One device may have an unstable connection preventing real-time updates.
- Different accounts -- You may be logged into a different workspace on the other device.
How to Fix
1. Hard refresh the page
Force a full reload to bypass the browser cache:
- Windows/Linux:
Ctrl + Shift + R - Mac:
Cmd + Shift + R
This reloads the page from the server, not from the browser cache.
2. Check you are in the same workspace
- Look at the workspace name in the top-left corner of DreamFlow on both devices.
- If they show different workspace names, switch to the correct one using the workspace switcher.
3. Check your network connection
- DreamFlow uses real-time connections for instant data sync.
- Ensure both devices have a stable internet connection.
- If on mobile data, try switching to WiFi (or vice versa).
4. Log out and back in
If data is still stale after a hard refresh:
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
- Click Sign Out.
- Log back in. This clears all session data and loads fresh from the server.
Tip
Changes to contacts, deals, and tasks sync in real-time. If you are not seeing updates within a few seconds, the issue is almost always a cached page or network problem on the receiving device.
