The Templates Library is your central hub for reusable email and proposal templates. Create a template once, then use it across campaigns, sequences, automations, and one-off emails — ensuring consistent messaging and saving hours of writing time.
Steps
- Navigate to Tools > Templates in the sidebar.
- Click + New Template.
- Choose a template type:
- Email Template — For campaigns, sequences, automations, and manual emails
- Proposal Template — For generating proposals with pre-filled sections
- Give your template a name (e.g., "Q1 Follow-up Email").
- Write your content in the rich text editor. Use merge tags like
{{contact.full_name}}for personalization. - Click Save.
Using Templates
- In Campaigns: Select a template when composing your campaign email.
- In Sequences: Choose a template for each step in your sequence.
- In Automations: Select a template for the "Send Email" action.
- Manual emails: When emailing a contact, click "Use Template" to insert template content.
Managing Templates
- Edit: Click any template to open it in the editor. Changes do not affect previously sent emails.
- Duplicate: Create a copy of an existing template to use as a starting point.
- Delete: Remove templates you no longer need. Active campaigns using the template are not affected.
- Search: Use the search bar to find templates by name.
Tip: Create a "master" template for each email type (follow-up, newsletter, announcement) and duplicate it as a starting point for new variations.
