Sometimes payments fail — expired cards, insufficient funds, or bank holds. DreamFlow gives you a 7-day grace period to resolve the issue without losing access.
What Happens When a Payment Fails
- Day 1: Payment fails. You receive an immediate email notification. A yellow banner appears in your dashboard.
- Day 3: Second reminder email. Banner turns orange.
- Day 7: Final reminder. If the payment is still not resolved, your workspace becomes read-only at the end of day 7.
During the Grace Period
- Your workspace continues to function normally for 7 days.
- All features remain active — contacts, campaigns, automations, everything.
- A banner at the top of your dashboard reminds you to update your payment method.
How to Resolve
- Navigate to Settings > Billing.
- Click Update Payment Method (or click the banner link).
- Enter a valid card.
- The failed charge is retried automatically within minutes.
- If successful, the banner disappears and your workspace continues normally.
Tip: Set up a backup payment method or use a card that does not expire soon. Most failed payments are due to expired cards.
After the Grace Period
- Your workspace becomes read-only. You can view data but not create or edit.
- Automations and campaigns are paused.
- Update your payment method to instantly restore full access.
- No data is deleted — you have 30 days from the failed payment to resolve it before data deletion is scheduled.
